There is More: Missio Dei Sunday
Today is Missio Dei Sunday, and we are believing God for more. He is at work in our world, and we celebrate that by inviting him to do more in us and through us.
There Is More Faith
In Hebrews 11, Paul shares the story of Jacob to illustrate the legacy of faith we have through the Israelites. The Jewish patriarch Jacob, son of Isaac, was a blesser and a worshiper at the end of his life.
There Is More Action
You’re never too old or too young when it comes to living a life of meaning and significance in line with God’s mission. In this Missio Dei season at City Church, we are learning what it means to walk out the mission, the plans and the purposes of God. Missio Dei is the Latin term for God’s mission. In Genesis 12, Abraham shows us what it looks like to live on purpose and to be a part of God’s mission.
THERE IS MORE INFLUENCE
You are the salt of the earth and the light of the world. There are bigger things and greater opportunities for us if we tap into what God has for us.
There Is More of the Holy Spirit
In Acts 2, the Holy Spirit came upon the followers of Jesus like a rushing wind. There is more of God’s spirit for those of us who are called out, those of us who choose to be a part of his great work. The spirit is what breathes the essence and character of God into us.
