As long as the earth remains, there will be seed, time, and harvest - this is a Biblical principle that has been active since God created the earth. We are called to sow and water, and God brings the harvest.

Jesus is looking for covenant people who are willing to commit in covenant to what Jesus committed to and in covenant with His Church. We should love and be committed to the Church because Jesus loves the Church and He is committed to it. If we plant ourselves and remain committed, God will speak to us, bless us, strengthen us, and find us right where we are because He is good. We are not called to be a perfect Church, we are called to be a perfected Church.

Today we celebrate Jesus’ victory over sin, death, and the grave with over 2.3 billion Christ-followers around the world. We can visit Jesus’ grave, but we are not going to find Him there. He is alive. The resurrection of Jesus Christ is the defining pivotal event in human history.

Leonardo Davinci painted the famous Living Lord’s Supper. Throughout history, it’s been easy to project onto this table and scene religious ideas and assumptions. Most of us would not consider ourselves holy or righteous enough to sit at this table. Many of us would identify the apostles as spiritually elite or further ahead.
